The tunnels are not only incredible to see in person, but also carry a lot of history. They’re part of Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park near Hope, and are a must visit for outdoor enthusiasts.

A lush hiking trail that is brimming with history. Walk along the trail and discover abandoned train cars from the 1950s along the way. They have since been covered with graffiti from those passing by.

Fairy Lake in Port Renfrew is home to the wondrous Tree on the Lake. Here you can witness a tiny Douglas Fir tree on a submerged log in the middle of the lake.

Shipwrecks are both intriguing and eerie. The historical site is located on the beautiful Haida Gwaii. A bad storm in the Hecate Strait caused it to crash in 1928.

A couple looking for a more secluded lifestyle, built their own sanctuary with a float home just northeast of Tofino. It’s complete with five greenhouses, an art gallery, a fire pit, a studio, dance floor and lighthouse tower. They offer tours throughout June to September for visitors to discover how they live so remotely.

This magical waterfall can easily be missed when travelling along the Trans Canada Highway. It’s on the other side of a concrete wall near Revelstoke. A short trail will lead you right to the cascading falls.
Goldstream Trestle

Everyone must hike to the Goldstream Trestle Bridge near Victoria at least once. It’s a 3-km trek that takes about two hours to complete. It has an elevation gain of 170-metres but the bridge is so picturesque, it makes it all worth it.
